Chanting Into Stillness

As our weekly celebrations and our sacred Peace Walker Sangha continue to evolve join Dr. Tom in Chanting into Stillness on Tuesday nights
Following our weekly 6:00 p.m. silent meditation, Dr. Tom Stempel will lead an hour long celebration of chanting and reflection beginning at 6:45.
Dr. Tom utilizes chant and inspirational readings from many wisdom traditions to help quiet our mind and bring us to that place of inner stillness that allows us to be grounded and functional in our hectic daily living. The celebration is quiet and reflective, deeply peaceful, and joyful. The chants in different languages are sung many times over as a devotional vehicle to reach our place of sacred stillness.
Are you feeling hassled, frustrated, out of balance, angry, unwhole?
Come to Chanting into Stillness and experience how chanting can bring you to a place of quiet reflection that lets you reflect on yourself and the world from a place less cluttered by your flustered daily monkey mind.
Experience the peace that you can take back into your daily interactions.
If you already know that beautiful space of Divine joy and wisdom, come join us in our communal engagement, and help us all to go deeper with your energetic presence.
Come and celebrate the stillness and embrace the unfolding it encourages.
Notice will be communicated through The FUSION Foundation website and this meetup group.

The Alwun House
The name is phonetic for "all one," as in "we're all in this together," a principle that Alwun House founders Kim Moody and Dana Johnson have clung to since purchasing the old, dilapidated property and commencing their rehabilitation on the house and property in 1971. Built in 1912 by shop owner John Sedler, Alwun originally rested on five acres on the northeast corner of 12th Street and Roosevelt, overlooking alfalfa fields south of Roosevelt, before there were even sidewalks out that way. Following its funky restoration, Alwun House quickly became the first gallery in downtown Phoenix, and has stayed on as a maverick torchbearer for the downtown arts community. Its central floor houses an art gallery; its basement is home to a multi-media theater, and its rambling backyard gardens and patio are the settings for poetry slams, music concerts and exhibits by local visual and performance artists. Alwun's annual Exotic Art Show showcases uncensored and frankly naughty works, and its bar and cafe make this a jumping joint for any kind of off-hours party. Alwun's a three-decades-old mainstay among those of us who need an alternative art fix.
